He is survived by: his wife Wendy Smith of New Lisbon; his children, Chis of New Lisbon, Kimberly Merbs (John) of Centreville, MI, Robert of Ottawa, IL and Angela of Ottawa, IL; and his sisters, Janice Lucas (Richard) of Ottawa, IL and Carol McCormick of Ottawa, IL. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
