He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Jahnsen and Carolyn Jahnsen (Peterson). He is survived by: his wife Mary (Gleason) of New Lisbon; his sons, Alan of Bayport, MN, Thomas (Yelena) of Shoreview, MN and David of Big Falls, MN; his grandchildren, Natalie and Alexander; his sister Karen Meyer (Richard) of Oklahoma; his niece Heidi; and his nephew Andy.
He battled Parkinson's due to Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam and spent his final days under the exceptional care of the VA Center in Tomah.
