He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Setzer and Winifred Setzer (Bowen); and his brother Lee Setzer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Stowell of New Lisbon; his children, Shawn Setzer (Dawn) of Rosendale, Timothy Setzer of Elroy and Tracy Wollin of Brentwood, CA.; his siblings, Kay Mudrock (John) of West Allis and Donald Setzer of West Allis; and his grandchildren, Jordan Wollin, Jacob Wollin and Kourttnie Setzer. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
