He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeffrey Nevil and Grace Nevil (Pinnow); his wife Donna; his sister Arlene Elmer (Laverne); and his niece Cheryl Elmer Lindemann.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Kundert (Jim), Patrick Nevil (Laura) and Michael Nevil (Shawna); his grandchildren, Nicole Nevil-Oppliger (Justin), Troy Nevil (Lindsey), Kyle Kundert (Emily), Dr. Markus Nevil (Derek Hoerres), Mason Nevil and Zoe Nevil (Jacob Schmitz); his great grandchildren, Greyson, Gibson, Lila Nevil-Oppliger, Tenley and Treyton Nevil; his nephew Jerry Elmer (Linda); and his niece Leanne Elmer Perushek.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the New Glarus Lions Club, Swiss United Church of Christ, or the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
