He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry and Jessie DeHaan, Sr. (Kooistra); his wife Judith; his son-in-law Bryon Riese; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Mathison and Hans Anderegg.
He is survived by: his close friend Judith C. Eggert; his children, Daniel DeHaan (Michele), Dawn Slotten, Janet Wahl (Tom), Henry DeHaan III (Lynne) and Lynda Riese; and his siblings, Barb Mathison, Clarence "Bud" DeHaan, Ruth Anderegg and Dirk DeHaan (Mary). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
