It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hedwig Angela Wahl of New Glarus, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Gruenenfelder and Christina Gruenenfelder; her husband Maurice; her son Meldan; and her siblings, Christine Zimmerman, Lillian Bigger, Anna Minnig, Mary Jensen, Catherine Uebersetzig, Leona Rundhaug and Henry Gruenenfelder.
She is survived by: her children, Merin Wahl (Marcia) of Mineral Point, Michael Wahl (Cyndi) of Mineral Point, Maynard Wahl (Jane) of New Glarus, Marcy Wahl of Argyle, Maureen Prestbroten (Robert) of Blanchardville, Myles Wahl (Lori) of Blanchardville and Marlyn Wahl (Michele) of Blanchardville; and her sister-in-law Mary Jean Hendrickson of Blanchardville. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
