He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Martin and Nellie Martin (Nelson); his wife Margaret A. Hendrickson; and his brothers, Alton and Sherman Martin.
He is survived by: his nephews, Bill Hendrickson (Jan) of Janesville, WI, David Martin of Oswego, WI and Ron Martin (Beth) of Fort Atkinson, WI; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cynthia Martin of Oswego, WI, Katherine Harper (Joshua) of Anchorage, Ala, Brenda Martin, William Martin of Platteville, WI, Aaron Martin of Rockport, TX and Emily Martin of River Falls, WI; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Martin of New Glarus.
