She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stricker and Helen Stricker (Prien); and her stepmother Louise Stricker. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Gerner; her children, Steven Gerner (Jody), Jennifer Engstad (Brian) and Rebecca Sturdevant (Chad); her grandchildren, Toni, Max Gerner, Thomas, Taylor, Abigail Sturdevant, Jacob and Lucas Engstad; and her siblings, Jim Stricker (Linda) and Judy Wilhelmi (Peter). She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
