He was predeceased by: his father Robert Cushman; his grandparents, Robert, Izro Cushman, Jerry and Fern Arneson; his uncles, Arnold Meyers, Scott Arneson, Richard Aurit and Richard Cushman; his aunt Sandra Ramsden (Arneson); and his mother-in-law Sharon Holets.
He is survived by: his mother Diane Cushman (Arneson); his wife Karen Holets; his stepchild Andrei Vultaggio; his brother Brian Cushman (Angie); his father-in-law William Holets; and his nieces, Courtney, Katie, Karlie, Kaleigh and Kelsey.
For his love of animals and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Iowa County Humane Society.
