He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Shilbauer and Ruth Shilbauer (Kuehl); his spouse Isabel "Bell" Verbeten; his siblings, Nancy and Lee Shilbauer; his siblings-in-law, Adam Pivonka, Dean Karnopp, Dave Feller, Rod Verbeten (Anna Jane) and Kathryn Zeller; and also, William and Coletta Verbeten.
He is survived by: his children, Kregg, Melanie, Jill (Scott Lechner) and Sheryl (Chris Tsioulis); his grandchildren, Rachael Shilbauer and Grant Shilbauer; his sisters, Gay Pivonka and Shelley Karnopp; and his parents-in-law, Donna Wall (Jerry), Mary Feller, Sherry Suttner (Terry), Doug Verbeten (Dorothy), Dean Verbeten (Barbara), Linda Hanaway (Mike), Bill Verbeten (Sharon), Joe Zeller and Sandy Minger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
