With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay A. Schmidt of New Franken, Wisconsin, born in Algoma, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Blahnik and Lois Blahnik (Zastrow); her siblings, Sandra Blahnik, Mary Jo Laurent and Joe Blahnik; and her brothers-in-law, Tony Laurent and Richard Zajac.
She is survived by: her husband Adrian Schmidt Jr. (Ace); her children, Debbie Kleiman (Terry) and Randy Schmidt (Dena); her grandchildren, Derek Schopf (Kayla), Ashtyn Feld (Kevin), Tanner Schmidt (Lauren), Kahner Domke (Joe) and Devin Schmidt; her stepgrandchildren, Spencer Kleiman (Elisabeth) and Marie Kleiman; and her siblings, Toni Massart (Randy), Tom Blahnik and Becky Hann (William). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials may be made out to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
