John J. Arendt Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Arendt and Martha Arendt (Dorner); his parents-in-law, Walter and Eileen Gillis (Hilton); his siblings, Alois, Anthony, Cathy Nantelle, Ethel Woldt, Virginia Drenski and Sharon LaCombe; and his siblings-in-law, Amy Vandenhouten, Chris Piontek, Ronald Woldt, Matt Dennisen, Neil Patterson and Ellis LaCombe.

He is survived by: his wife Francine Byrle Gillis; his children, John Arendt (Lucy), Lynn Pyatt (Todd), Leslie Rabideau (Jim), Steve Arendt (Lisa) and David Arendt; his grandchildren, John Arendt (Dana), Michael Arendt (Corynne), David Arendt (Natalie), Sean Pyatt (Milena), Samuel Pyatt (Jennifer), Ryan Pyatt (Sydney), Tyler Rabideau (Camilla), Evan Rabideau, Jacob Arendt (Terrah) and Roman Arendt; his great grandchildren, Raelle, Amelia, Madelyn, Ava, Jax and Tye; his siblings, Amanda Patterson and Grant Arendt (Jeanne); and his siblings-in-law, Georgia Arendt, Nancy Koebel, Mary Gillis, Robert Krueger, Mark Piontek, Bill Koebel, Dan Gillis and Dan Vandenhouten. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (340 S Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301, USA). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Bernard Catholic Church (2040 Hillside Ln, Green Bay, WI 54302). The military honors was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In Lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established to Food for the Poor.
