She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Smits and Henrietta Smits (Vanden Elzen); her husband Ervin Heim of Mary's Catholic Church; her brothers, Harold Smits (Hazel), Roland Smits (Genevieve), Merlin Smits, Roger Smits and Edward Smits (Karen); her siblings-in-law, Lyle Mangin, Henry Heezen, Orville Heim (Jerri), Cletus Heim, Norbert Heim, Karen Heim, Renee Heim and Delores Heim; and her in-laws, John and Laura Heim.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Heim (Mary Jane), Ken Heim (Sally), Nancy Metzler (John), Linda Zellner, Jeanne and Sue Ann Zellner (Steve); her sisters, Rosemary Mangin and Laverne Heezen; and her siblings-in-law, Junella Smits, Rita Goldman, Lyle Heim, Leon Heim (Sandi), David Heim (Mary), Ann Heim and Patricia Heim. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. A wake was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Parish Wake Service (1630 E Mason St, Green Bay, WI 54302). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (3009 Bay Settlement Rd, Green Bay, WI 54311).
