He is survived by: his children, Claire Dooley (Brian), Jane Curran (Michael), Annie Schumann, Nola, Flynn Dooley, Vincent and Mary Frances Curran; his sibling Randy Schumann (Marge); and his parents, Milton Schumann and Marcia Schumann. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Messmer High School.
