He is survived by: his parents, Shivabhai Patel and Kantaben Patel; his sisters, Sharmistha, Shilpa and Roopalee; his spouse Yogita; his child Siya; his great-aunt Jadiba; and his cousins, Bharat, Ramila, Suresh and Ashmita. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
