He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Figie and Mona Figie; his siblings, Ernestine, Lorraine and Fred; his son Ronald (Denise Arendt); and his wife Dolores Polum.
He is survived by: his children, David (Kathleen), Linda Coblentz (Eugene), Kathleen Ladich (Gregory) and Jerome (Chris Garlie).
