With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosemary E. Downey of New Berlin, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Katheiser and Betty Katheiser; and her siblings, Bill Katheiser and Betty Boland. She is survived by : her sibling Shirley Keller; her children, Patrick, Mike (Rachel), Mary Sue (Denise) and Katie (Mike); her grandchildren, Alex (Dillon), Melanie, Jack, Sam, Ela, Makenna and Morgan; and her great grandchild Easton. She is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church (16000 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Mary Parish Cemetery Lake Church (6066 Lake Church Rd, Belgium, WI 53004).

Donations in Rose's name may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, or Capuchin Community Services supporting The House of Peace, and St. Ben's Community Meal.
