He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathy Jo; his parents, Ralph Bruner and Gladys Bruner; his grandmother Viola Bruner; his stepmother Marge Bruner; and his sisters, Shirley Struve and Norma Byers.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona JoAnn; his children, Karen Pionke (late William), Ronnie John Bruner and Frank Bruner; his grandchildren, Kassandra Brickner-Kebir, Megan Ames (Corey), William J. Pionke, Frank Bruner Jr. and Nathan Bruner; his great grandchildren, Avelynn, Brennan, Oberyn and Ellison; and his close friends, Ken Gilchrist, Pete Lorenzen, Dick Title and Jon Gustavson.
