He was predeceased by: his sister Kathleen. He is survived by: his sons, Richard (Roshia) and John; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Qayden, Sarina, Naomi and Gabriel; his siblings, Raymond (Nancy), Heidi Schiffer (Larry), Robert "Sparky" (Crystal) and Lori Baker (late Dean); and also Diane McGinnis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
