It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard J. Ortner of New Berlin, Wisconsin, born in Auburn, Iowa, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Madelyn; his sons, Nate and Nick (Jennifer); and his grandsons, Zach and Sam.

In lieu of flowers, Richard's family asks that memorial contributions be made to New Berlin West athletics, the New Berlin Athletic Association, the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County, or your local youth athletics or animal welfare organization, in recognition of Richard's love of sports and animals.
