He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ben, Bill, Barbara and Nancy; his grandson Travin; his siblings-in-law, Pat and Denny; his nephews, Don, Ken, Jeff, Kris, Tom and Brock; his niece Katherine; and also, Robert and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Mary Ramthun (Jeff), Carol Majeskie (Mike), Janet Anderson (David), Rich Abplanalp (Angie) and John Abplanalp (Denise); his grandchildren, Rachel, Jason, Michael (Brittani), Katie (Jake), Daniel (Michelle), Nathan, Patrick (Sia), Dustin (Hannah), Amanda, Alaina, Aric, Nina and Shayna; his sister Sally; and also Russell. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many extended family members, along with the kindest neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
