He was predeceased by: his child Ronald Erickson; and his siblings, Morris, Verlon, James, John D., Tillman Shlinsog and Alice "Toots" Shlinsog.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Erickson (Nancy), Cindy Erickson, Bob Erickson, Sue Erickson and Sandy Schoba (Mike); his sibling Evelyn Porter; and also Carol Erickson.
