He is survived by: his children, Victor Sprtel (Kris), Paul Sprtel (Annette), Dave Sprtel (Teri), Thomas Hammer (Patricia), Susan Goron (Daniel), Patricia Kiefer (Rodney), Michael Winnemuller (Sheila) and Lynn Bernett (James); and his grandchildren, Karley Russert (Garrett), Chelsey Resler (Kyle), Jaclyn Sprtel (Dan Bennett), Alex Sprtel (Emily), John Sprtel (Claire), Sean Sprtel, Brooke Sprtel, Matthew Hammer (Kimberly), Lauren Hammer Aguilera (Manuel), Kimberly Story (William), Christopher Goron (Taryn), Adam Kiefer (Kayla), Jenna Evans (David), Kyle Kiefer (Danya), Alyssa Bernett (Brian), Brianna Bernett and Kyra Bernett (Drew). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
