He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jones and Vassar Johnson-Jones; and his siblings, Luvenia Clay, Ernestine Shipmon, Jessie Mack Andrews, Harold Johnson and Edward Johnson.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, Randi Russell (Worrel), Kim Curtis, Otis Jones Jr. (Maria) and Anthony Dexter-Jones; his grandchildren, Lyryan Russell, Toni Russell-Hill (Jacob), Rudolph Russell III (Terrell), Korey Henry, Michael Viloria (Melissa) and Christian Viloria (Lourdes); his great grandchildren, Jacob Hill, Julius Viloria and Lyryan Hernandez-Russell; his brothers, Charles Jones and Benjamin Johnson; and his pet Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
