He was predeceased by: his father Arthur J. Roy; his brother Daniel; and his mother-in-law Barbara Haertel. He is survived by: his wife Karen Roy; his siblings, Timothy Roy (Ellen), Ellen Roy (William Kruziki) and Maureen Harty (Dale); his siblings-in-law, Janet Roy and Paul J. Haertel; his father-in-law Paul D. Haertel; his friend Ken Packer; and his pet Myrtle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
