Melanie (Bloomberg) M. Schmidt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, Melanie (Bloomberg) M. Schmidt (New Berlin, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Melanie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Melanie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Brian Schmidt; her children, Ava and Eli Schmidt; her mother Linda M. Feltz; and her siblings, Eric Bloomberg (Lana) and Lisa Borkenhagen (Paul). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Jacobi Lutheran Church (8605 W Forest Home Ave, Greenfield, WI 53228). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
