She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Castle and Rose Baumann Castle; and her grandson Phillip Van Zeeland. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Thomas Van Zeeland (Marli Bezerra), James Van Zeeland (Nola) and John Van Zeeland (Julie); her stepchildren, Pamela Flaherty and Steven Flaherty (Lisa); her grandchildren, Erin, Thomas Jr., Andrew (Dianna Wu), Jacob Van Zeeland and Lacey Schiel (Michael); her stepgrandson Adam Laessig; her great grandchildren, Ami Van Zeeland, Raelle Schiel, Kai Van Zeeland and Camden Schiel; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Flaherty Phelan (Michael) of Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Notre Dame School of Milwaukee would be greatly appreciated.
