She was predeceased by: her husbands, Ervin Smith and Gerald Jansen; and her son Robert "Rufe" Smith. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Smith (Colleen), Paul Smith, Christine Santiago (Felix), Andrea Snastin (David), Cindy Serfort (Carl) and David Jansen; and her friend Dee Koehn-Treibel.
