He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vija Rukis and Karlis Rukis; his siblings, Ansis (MaryAnn), Andrejs and Ilze Rukis; his nephew Alexander Rukis; and his niece Katrina Archambeau. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
