With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda (Laughery) D. Prechtel (New Berlin, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Linda's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Linda's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Laughery and Helen Laughery; her brother Jerry Laughery; and her daughter Valerie Prechtel. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Sawers (Scott); her granddaughter Hailey Brandt; her brothers, Tony Laughery (Maureen) and Larry Laughery (Theresa); her sister-in-law Kathy Laughery; and also, Ron Brandt and Anne Champion. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home (16880 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
