It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved LaVern W. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strand and Luella Strand; his wife Norma J. Carlson; and his siblings, Elaine, Irene and Roger.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dale and Karen; and his children, Joyce, Bert (Joanie), Jim (Lisa), Sandy (Bob), Dede (Mark) and Carol. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Krause Funeral Home (12401 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Memorial Park (14875 W Greenfield Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are very welcomed to the Veterans Administration or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, West Allis.
