Kathryn Ponto Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Ponto (New Berlin, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Staszak and Frances Staszak; and her siblings, John "Butch" Staszak (Lois), Leonard Staszak and Wanda Rowell (Mark).
She is survived by: her spouse Russell; her children, Craig Ponto (Lisa) and Lisa K. Ponto; her grandchild Conner Burakowski; and her siblings, Marianne Staszak (Gary Kubacki), Dolores Kendziera (late Eddie), Dennis Staszak (Donna), Thomas Staszak (Rosemary), Loretta Staszak, Frank Staszak (Kwi Hwa), David Staszak (Yong Ae), Suzanne Sprenger (Mike) and Jim Staszak (Christine).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Krause Funeral Home (12401 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery Highland Memorial Park (14875 W Greenfield Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association – Wisconsin Chapter, 620 South 76 Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
