He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Ohly; his parents, Ignaz Ohly and Maria Ohly; his grandson Aaron M. Chiconas Jr.; and his brother Tony Ohly.

He is survived by: his son Aaron M Ohly (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Makenzie Tucker and Joyce Medina; his siblings, Anna, Molly Ohly and Walter J Ohly (Laure); and his pets, Peanut, Ricky Ohly, Grand, Eve and Willa Ohly. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
