He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Groshek and Regina Groshek (Stroik); his son-in-law Steve Bauer; his brothers, Leroy, Ralph, Ronald, Norbert, Dennis and Mark Groshek; his brothers-in-law, Wally Bembenek and John Armstrong; and his in-laws, Margaret and Bernard Meverden.
He is survived by: his wife Sue (Armstrong); his children, Margie Bauer, Joe Groshek, Michele Kirby and Rick Groshek (Kerri); his grandchildren, Adam Bauer (Shandra), Jake Bauer (Lauren), Ty Bauer (Brenna), Alexandra Groshek, Trevor DeRosia, Andy Ellingson, Mitchell Ellingson, Jack Groshek, Nick Groshek and Maddie Groshek; his great grandchildren, Brynn, Ethan, Silas Bauer, Ellarose, Beckham Bauer, Noah Bauer, Skyler, Kenadie, Maverick and Rylan DeRosia; his siblings, Joyce Bembenek, Natalie Staley (Wayne), Fred Groshek (Elaine), George Groshek (Barbara) and Cliff Groshek (Bonnie); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Groshek, Betty Groshek, Helen Groshek, Virginia Groshek, Jeanne Groshek and Mary Armstrong. He is also survived by Dad's nieces and nephews.
