He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Leone Lavin (Hajducki); his children, Lisa Popke (Michael), Kelly Braker (Earl) and Michele Mitchell (Scott); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Luke, Tyler, Neil, Maura, Faith and Brian Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the estate of James Lavin for his grandchildren's higher education.
