He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes; his sisters, Mary Jane Janz and Mildred Pruszka; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvester Lewandowski (Patricia) and Jane Kovnesky.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanine Kusch (Jeff), Judy Bayley and James M. Pizzala (Mary); his grandchildren, Jenni Shamoon (Jason), Joe Kusch (Laurel Elliot), Nick Kusch (Ali), Andrea Walter (Brian), Christopher Bayley (Kamala), Kevin Bayley (Michelle), Michael Pizzala (Kim) and Daniel Pizzala (Valerie); and his great grandchildren, Kelli, Joshua Walter, Noah, Chuck Shamoon, Aidan, Bryce, Nolan Bayley, Gavin, Sam, Ben, Abby and Sophie Pizzala. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
