He was predeceased by: his sons, Jack Zaffiro, Jr. and Anthony Zaffiro; and his brother Joseph Zaffiro (Therese). He is survived by: his wife Lucille "Lou" Jarvis Zaffiro; his children, Sharon Imperl, Christopher Zaffiro, Terry Zaffiro, Fred Jarvis, Jill Timm (late Dennis) and Tracey Jarvis (Michelle); and his sister Fran Acamondo (late Paul). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
