He was predeceased by: his brother Gilbert; his former wife Norma Byerly Tietyen; his wife Luella Christiansen Tietyen; his brother Lester (Edith Byerly Tietyen); his nephews, Gene Tietyen and Gerald H Tietyen; his niece Jeanette Tietyen Traber; and his close friend Angeline Persick.

He is survived by: his niece Carole Tietyen Morgan; his nephew Allen Tietyen (Lois); his children, Allison Persick, Emily Persick, John and Ann Persick; his grandchildren, Erin Allen (Kristian) and Amy Pietan (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Dorothy and Albert; his grandchildren, Ryan Persick, Claire Persick, Brian Groth and Debbie Zimmerman; and his great grandchild Elena Groth. He is also survived by seven great nephews and three great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project in Glenn's name.
