He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Z LeRoy and Martha Mary Warrus; his daughters, Linda Bentzen (Gordon) and Deb Welch; his grandchildren, Steven Hamm (Lori), Lisa Almrud (Steve), Carrie Weihert (Eric) and Erin Selvig (Matt); his sister Carol Hoover; his sister-in-law Loretta LeRoy; his close friend Doris Klug; his wife Jean Ann Schuld; and his brothers, Robert and Norbert LeRoy. He was also cherished by fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
