He was predeceased by: his daughter Donna Wicklund (late John); his parents, Edward, Sr. Uhl and Neva Uhl; and his siblings, Marilyn and Raymond.
He is survived by: his wife Janette; his son Douglas Uhl (Laurie); his grandchildren, Kari Stone (Eric), Jessica Scholz (A. J.) and Joshua Uhl; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Audrey, Carly Stone, Sydney and Kennedy Scholz. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
