Edith L. McCarthy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith L. McCarthy (New Berlin, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Edith had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Edith may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schroeder and Pauline Schroeder; and her brothers, James (Margaret) and Laurence Schroeder (Patricia). She is also survived by her loving family and friends, including ten nephews and nieces, their spouses and grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Apostles Catholic Church (16000 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
