He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Kriefall and Betty Kriefall. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Haley, Brianna, Chad, Cole and Adam; his siblings, Karen Jurek and Joni Knoll (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Steve Haumschild (Mary), Nancy Clemons, Tom Haumschild (Terri), Kathy Stone (Jim) and Bonnie Schulte (Dave).

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to American Cancer Society or Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
