He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schwede and Mayme Schwede (Kittel); and his siblings, Morris Schwede, Belvajean Tritten and Marilou Newman.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Fohr; his children, Darlene Vlietstra (Randy), Dean Schwede and Donna Guldan (Nate); his grandchildren, Amber Bassindale (Dan), Kyle Vlietstra (Alison), Sara Raduechel (Tyler), Caden, Tyler and Landry Guldan; his great grandchildren, Dorothy, Autumn, Charles, Kash, Hazel, George and James; and his siblings, Delores Anderson, Edward (Shirley), Charles Jr. (Marjorie) and Billie Schwede. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
