He was predeceased by: his father Martin Wilkens; and his godfather Kenneth Schaubs. He is survived by: his mother Audrey Wilkens (Schaubs); his wife Ashley Wilkens (Pavletich); his sister Amanda Wilkens; his parents-in-law, Jim and Debbie Pavletich; and his brother-in-law Scott Pavletich.
In lieu of flowers, Ashley will develop a memorial to support the organizations Dan supported that were near and dear to his heart in the surrounding area.
