She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Whelan; and her parents, Arthur Patten and Irene Patten (Brunmeier) of West Allis. She is survived by: her children, Julie Whelan Capell of Milwaukee, Viña and Daniel Whelan (Elizabeth) of Wisconsin Rapids; her grandchildren, Fiona and Joey; and her brothers, Roger and Richard Patten.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Apostles Catholic Church (16000 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Church's Welcome Center.
