It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Sambar of New Berlin, Wisconsin, born in Brainerd, Minnesota, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Hasskamp; her parents-in-law, Suleiman and Nadimeh Sambar; and her grandparents, George, Esther Denis, Fred and Laura Hasskamp.

She is survived by: her husband Samir Sambar; her sisters, Mary Kay Lacy (Kent) of Prior Lake, Roberta Whitney (Mike) of Blaine and Kris Hasskamp of Crosby; her friend Nancy Petroske; her siblings-in-law, Homer Sambar (Marianne), Lily Khoury (Phillip) and Amira Sammour (Nabil); her niece Sara Anne Kost (Mike); her goddaughters, Rana Shehadeh (Habib), Iman Bechard (Ameer), Hanan Haddad (Kareem) and Manar Aburahme (Saher); her nephews, Adam Johnson, Mark Lyons (Elle), Michael Sambar (Esmeralda), Rami Sammour (Ranin) and Ameer Sammour (Orawan); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brenyn Whitney, Katie, Brianna Kost, Ava, Jack Stanton, Thora Lyons, Maya, Lynn, Nabil, Adam, Aline Sammour, Eli, Sam Shehadeh, Yara Bechara, Lilly, Talin Haddad, Raam and Arz Aburahme.

My heart is hurting for all of you, i will always cherish the time Anne spent with me when I was going through hard times and how good she made me feel then, Anne was such a positive person anytime but especially in hard times. i will never forget her as long as I live.
