She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Akins and Ruby Akins. She is survived by: her husband Walter Wheeler; her daughters, Michelle Hyllested (Blane) and Kelly Wheeler; her grandchildren, Justin Workman, Nicole Otto and Heather Hyllested; and her brother Jim Akins (Jill). She is also survived by friends, and neighbors.
