He is survived by: his spouse Rhoda Vanderboss; his children, Thomas Herrick of Bloomer, Paula Christianson (John) of New Auburn, Delana Calkins (Doug Warne) of Cadott and Valeta Knoll (Paul) of New Auburn; and his sisters, Virginia Hakes (Wilfred) and Lola Rummery. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
