He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Tanner and Pearl Tanner (Schoeppe); and his sisters, Nancy Jung and Sylvia Guernsey (Earl). He is survived by: his wife Darlene Tanner of Racine; his children, Laura Tanner of Clay Township, MI, Edward Tanner (Gladys) of Racine, Randy Tanner (Sheila) of Racine, Todd Tanner of Racine and Jerry Tanner (Kristal) of Racine; his grandchildren, Rachel Stieve (Chad), Elizabeth Lucarelli, Andrew Tanner, Eric Tanner (Nicole), Brittany Tanner (Frank Hegg), Edward Tanner III, Megan Lindemann, Sarah Anderson (Dale), Abigail Tanner (Brian Jones), Melissa Lawson (Cody) and Jessie Tanner; his great grandchildren, Brynn, Gianna, Zara, Paxton, Alexis, Hunter, Eben and Annabella; and his brother-in-law Donald Jung. He is also survived by nephews, other relatives and friends.
