He is survived by: his wife Maureen Buchholz; his children, Melissa Boettcher (Eric), Christiane Jahnke and Michael Crane (April); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bethany Boettcher, Dylan, Peyton Jahnke, Emma and Elly Crane; his siblings, Gilbert Crane, Audrey Knopp (Richard) and Barbara Lovett (David); his aunt Ardell Albers; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Crane and Dennis Reetz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Neshkoro.
